Kustom proudly introduces the second generation of High Voltage (HV™) hybrid tube amplifiers. In addition to newly tweaked circuitry, the HVs now feature a unique, rounded cabinet edge, new handle and control knob designs, new grill cloth, vents and piping, as well as the classic, vintage Kustom logo.
Kustom’s High Voltage (HV™) Hybrid Tube Series generates the authentic tone and responsive touch of classic tube amplification but with less weight and a lower price than all-tube designs.
HV Series combo amps provide professional tone, features and boutique styling in versatile, performance-oriented packages.
The Contender™ is a boutique-styled, 18-watt tone machine that borrows special features from its big brother, the all-tube Defender™ guitar amplifier from Kustom™. Utilizing a high-voltage 12Ax7 tube preamp design, The Contender harkens back to the small tube guitar amps of yesterday: chock full of sweet tone and snarling attitude.
